| Customer Reviews: It's a great deal. July 15, 2010 Awesome 2 out of 10 found this review helpful
In reality Funimation got rid of the " Season Sets " so they are only going with " Parts " right now. So most likely they won't be bundled together later until maybe at the end of the series they will decide to release a Dragonball Kai Series Box Set but that won't be until 2013 or even later.
What's with the huge price jump? July 9, 2010 Darth Meds 5 out of 22 found this review helpful
The first 13 episodes run for $21.49 currently on Amazon. The next 13 are $37?
Um . . . what? Guys, I'll get all 100 episodes if the pricing stays reasonable, but hopping around on your price point ain't gonna cut it.
The content itself is awesome. No filler, direct Toriyama Dragon Ball Z, presented with the pace it was originally intended to have. Wonderful!
The English sub work is also quite good as well. Let's just get the pricing figured out so we as consumers don't feel like we're getting jerked around.
Minus 1 star for jumping $15 in cost for no apparent reason.
Wait for Full Season sets. July 12, 2010 Ryan Daniels (Planet Namek) 12 out of 59 found this review helpful
Funimation is ripping you off. After they release these useless season parts, they will release a Full Season set. So whats the big deal? Well...they sell them often for the same price! Thats right the price it is right now (July 11th, 2010) $36.99 will be the same price when they release a full season set. They are milking this to the bone. They know people who can't wait to buy it will buy it in whatever capacity and then people like me will buy the full season sets. Trust me and wait, THEY WILL RELEASE A FULL SEASON SET. And they will release very soon. Take Kenchi for example, they did the same thing, and they release a full season set before even releasing the whole series in parts. So there you go. You only get 13 episodes, which in itself is way to expensive, so wait and pay the same price but get 26 episodes instead, same thing for blu-ray. Thanks for reading
